Dianne Floyd Sutton brings her experience as an EEO investigator to all her trainings, seminars and authorship. Dianne is a dynamic trainer, facilitator and educator. She has twenty years of combined experiences in Human Resource Development (HRD), Equal Opportunity (EO), civil rights and education. Through the use of humor and these combined experiences, she has developed models and processes that enhance personal development and team building. Over the years, she has designed and delivered courses, workshops, retreats, and seminars on such topics as interpersonal communication skills, positive self-esteem, team building, management, EEO law, prevention of sexual harassment, leadership, diversity awareness and cultural competency to thousands of employees. Her EEO/civil rights/diversity expertise include employment, education, housing and health care issues.
Dianne is the author of Workplace Etiquette…Guide To Surviving And Thriving In Today’s Workplace. She’s featured in Self Employed Magazine, published by the National Association for the Self Employed, March/April 2001. The article, “When Saying No Can Lead to Success,” examines when to say no to a client and why.
As an elected member of the Policy Board of the National Rural Health Association, Kansas City, Missouri for two years of voluntary service, her main objective was to lobby for the development of a national health agenda for minority and special populations in rural United States
, 2000 - 2001.
Dianne is an adjunct professor at American University (AU), the School pf Communication, Washington, D.C., teaching Small Group Communication Management, a 15-week course for juniors and seniors. She has an M.A., Education, Minor Curriculum Development from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.
