Dr. Jo's extensive experience is literally a "Who's Who" in the industry.  She is listed in "Who's Who in American Universities," serves on the Board of Directors of both the National Capital Speakers Association and Growth Strategies, Inc., and has been a fellow with the National Hispana Leadership Institute.

She is a former professor and counselor at Montgomery College , a corporate trainer for Anthony Robbins, and on the graduate faculty at Johns Hopkins University.  She obtained her PhD from the American University in Washington DC, and her MA from Hood College . Dr. Jo is a certified Meyers-Briggs trainer, a mediator, and an executive communication coach.  She is the only Latina PhD in the National Speakers Association and is the innovator of the F.A.S.T. approach to success.

Dr. Jo is currently at work on two books: one on the Hispanic American and African American communication styles in the workplace, and the other on corporate secrets every minority leader must know. Jo Ann speaks from the heart and her own experiences, to break through barriers and achieve success, because she's done it herself! From working toward her Ph.D. while holding down a full-time job and raising a family, to conquering a life-threatening illness.
